When we take payment

Important — please read
We send a payment link by email once your FP10 prescription has been received and verified by our pharmacist. We cannot dispatch before payment is confirmed.
This is a legal requirement — medical cannabis is a Schedule 2 controlled drug and cannot be released without payment secured. Prescriptions are valid for 28 days, so please pay promptly to avoid expiry.
klarna

The UK's first medical
cannabis pharmacy with Klarna.

Naturecan Pharmacy is the first UK medical cannabis pharmacy to offer Klarna. You don't need an account — just select Klarna at the payment link we send and complete the process in seconds.
📅

Pay in 3

Split the cost of your prescription into three equal monthly instalments. Interest-free. The first payment is taken at the time of your order; the remaining two are taken automatically at 30-day intervals.
🗓

Pay in 30 days

Receive your medication now and pay up to 30 days later. Interest-free. Klarna will send you a reminder before the due date. Nothing extra to pay if you settle on time.
How it works at checkout
1
Prescription is verified
Your FP10 arrives and our pharmacist checks it against your electronic prescription. We confirm your order is ready.
2
We send you a payment link
You receive a secure email with a payment link showing the total cost of your medication. Click to open the payment page.
3
Select Klarna at checkout
Choose "Pay in 3" or "Pay in 30 days" from the payment options. Klarna runs a brief check — this typically takes seconds.
4
We dispatch your order
Once Klarna confirms payment, we dispatch your medication by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed. You'll receive a tracking number by email.
Klarna is subject to their standard credit and eligibility checks. If Klarna is not available for your transaction, you can pay by card instead. Naturecan Pharmacy is not responsible for Klarna credit decisions. Klarna's terms and conditions apply — see klarna.com/uk.
🏅
A UK first — and a genuine access story.
We introduced Klarna because we know the cost of medication can be a barrier. Buy now, pay later doesn't change what you're prescribed, it just makes it easier and give you constant access to your treatment without the worry of waiting for payday.

All deliveries require a signature. Royal Mail will not leave your parcel unattended, with a neighbour, or in a safe place. Someone must be present to sign.
🪪
Named individual only
Your medication can only be delivered to the person named on the prescription. Royal Mail may ask for photographic ID (driving licence or passport) at the door.
📦
Discreet plain packaging
Your order arrives in plain, unbranded outer packaging. There is no labelling on the outside that indicates the contents. The prescription label is on the inner medication pouch only.

No international travel with medication
Many countries — including European destinations — do not permit medical cannabis to be imported, even with a valid UK prescription. Check the laws of your destination country before travelling abroad.
⚠️

Important — prescriptions expire after 28 days

UK medical cannabis prescriptions are only valid for 28 days from the date they are issued. If your parcel is not collected before the prescription expires, your medication cannot be re-dispensed and a new prescription will be required from your doctor.
If you know you will be away when a delivery is expected, please let us know in advance and we can hold dispatch until you're available.
Contact us at support-uk@naturecanpharmacy.com or call 0203 808 6988 to rearrange.
If you miss your delivery

What to do if Royal Mail
can't get through.

Because your medication is a controlled drug, Royal Mail cannot leave it unattended. If you're not in when they attempt delivery, here's what happens next.
1
Royal Mail leaves a card
You'll receive a "Something for you" card through your door with instructions to collect from your local delivery office or rearrange delivery.
2
Collect with ID
Bring the card and a valid photo ID (driving licence or passport) to your local Royal Mail delivery office.
3
Or rearrange a redelivery
Use the reference number on the card to rearrange delivery online at royalmail.com, or call Royal Mail directly.
4
If the parcel is returned to us
If Royal Mail returns your parcel uncollected, contact our team and we'll advise you on next steps. A redelivery fee may apply.

Common questions

Payment & shipping FAQs

If you don't see your question here, our pharmacist team is available Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
When will I receive my payment link? +
You will receive a payment link by email once your signed FP10 prescription has arrived at the pharmacy and been verified by our pharmacist. This typically takes 1–2 working days from the date your doctor issues the prescription. We will email you to confirm when your FP10 has arrived and your order is ready to pay and dispatch.
Can I pay in instalments if I can't afford the full amount upfront? +
Yes — this is exactly what Klarna is for. We introduced Klarna because we understand that the cost of medication can be a barrier. You can select "Pay in 3" (three equal monthly instalments, interest-free) or "Pay in 30 days" (receive your medication now, pay within 30 days) at the payment link we send. Both options are interest-free if you pay on time.
Klarna is subject to their standard eligibility check. If you're not approved for Klarna, you can pay by card instead.
How long does delivery take? +
From the moment payment is confirmed, your order is dispatched the same working day or the next. Royal Mail Tracked & Signed typically delivers within 1–2 working days. In total, you should expect to receive your medication 2–4 working days after your payment link is sent — assuming your FP10 has already arrived and payment is made promptly.
For repeat prescriptions the process is faster — your pharmacist signs the FP10 directly at the pharmacy, so there is no wait for it to arrive by post from your doctor. Same-day dispatch is common for approved repeats.
Do I have to be home to receive my delivery? +
Yes. Because your medication is a Schedule 2 controlled drug, Royal Mail cannot leave it unattended, with a neighbour, or in a safe place. A signature is required from the named patient — Royal Mail may ask for photo ID (driving licence or passport) at the door.
If you know you will not be available when a delivery is expected, please contact us in advance. We can hold dispatch until a date that suits you — this is much easier to arrange before dispatch than after.
What happens if my prescription expires before I collect the parcel? +
UK medical cannabis prescriptions are only valid for 28 days from the date they are issued. If a parcel is returned to us after the prescription has expired, the medication cannot legally be re-dispensed — a new prescription will need to be issued by your doctor at Naturecan Clinic.
Please collect your parcel promptly from the Royal Mail delivery office if a delivery attempt is missed. If you are concerned your prescription may be close to expiry, contact us immediately at support-uk@naturecanpharmacy.com.
Can I get my medication delivered to a different address? +
Delivery must be to the address associated with your patient account and registered on your prescription. If you need to update your delivery address, please contact support-uk@naturecanpharmacy.com before your prescription is issued — changes cannot be made once the order has been dispatched.
Is my medication packaging discreet? +
Yes. Your medication is sent in a plain, unbranded outer box or padded envelope. There is no branding, labelling, or text on the outside of the parcel that would indicate what it contains. The prescription label with your name and medication details is on the inner product packaging only.
The only visible label on the outside is the standard Royal Mail tracked delivery label with your name and delivery address.
